It's the first post on this thread. The F series flash does not have a stage 1+ like E series. Just the following:

Stage 1: stock cars
Stage 2 : either an intercooler or a downpipe
Stage 2+: requires both intercooler and downpipe

N55 EWG* (Vehicles built after 07/2013 with electronic wastegate):

Stage 1 (up to 360HP/540NM) - 91oct/95ron, 93oct/98ron, 95oct/102ron, for stock cars. (not available for M2 and X4 M40i)

Stage 2 (up to 390HP/580NM) - 91oct/95ron, 93oct/98ron, 95oct/102ron, for cars equipped with an upgraded intercooler or high-flow downpipe.

Stage 2+ (up to 430HP/630NM) - 91oct/95ron, 93oct/98ron, 95oct/102ron, for cars equipped with an upgraded intercooler and high-flow downpipe.

Ethanol Mix Maps: Stage 1, 2 and 2+ E20 Maps for ethanol blends of 20% (in development)

Here are a couple of my logs.

I am running stage 2 and E85, without any mods (bone stock). I know it is probably bad for the motor, but damn is it quick I have been pushing the car hard and i am happy with the product; I have not run into any problems and the car isn't acting funny/strange. I will probably do Downpipe later this month and do stage 2+ and E85.
Well, When not If you blow your charge pipe, I'd also suggest just upgrading the intercooler as well since whatever is left of the charge pipe must be disconnected from the intercooler anyway.

Update 0.99

Besides maps update for the F8x platform, the 0.99 update add the first flash option - cold start delete. Just reflash your current map with the option checked if you are interested.

Small word about ETA. We're only going to go open once we had the burble flash option (including min rpm, min speed, normal/sport duration and aggressiveness). No ETA for this 1.0 build

The burble flash option should had been first than cold start delete I can't believe there are more people wanting cold start delete than burble. They want it quiet, leave it damn stock. lol

Actually, the ability to start my car without pissing off my neighbors is quite nice. If you have an aftermarket exhaust or MPE with a catless downpipe, the car already "burbles" enough.

Not to be rude man but, cold start and catted DP because smell, are the two most stupid options. Fk the neighbors.

Not to be rude, but purposefully making your car gunshot-backfire @ every decel with no performance benefit is ricer AF.

Its exactly a fart-can example. Or a bolt on turbo whistle.

You're purposefully making additional sounds with no benefits.
I can have the same performance without excessive burbles.

It isnt anti-lag.

Yes, we could have the same performance but normal people would prefer turbo/exhaust sounds than quiet start up because you disturb your neighbor,

You guys want it quiet? Put it into drive or reverse right away. FYI Car needs cold start up to warm up.

yoandry has very different priorities than most people who want nice cars.

So...what part of Miami are you from?

A few questions:
  • Can you provide more info on the cold start delete? I mean, is it simply a reduction in initial start-up RPM, or are you also disabling the cat heating cycle? I'm sure you're following BM3, hopefully, but this was sort of a big deal to them recently and have already been implemented into their OTS flashes.
  • Also, if there's minimum RPM and speed for the burble, is there also a maximum RPM and speed?
  • Will this be on a slider (or other incremental options) so we can adjust how much of each and when, or will it just be a on/off thing?

Cold start is ONLY for cars with Catalytic converters.

Here are three of my logs today here in Cape Coral, outside Temp is 70. I am hoping everything looks safe, car pulls hard and runs smoothly. Anyone good at reading these logs and tell me what they think? 3 Different runs, 2 Auto and 1 Manual Log.

You do not need cold start if you are catless. Cold starts actually wear the engine more.

question to MHD : why EWG cars wgdc is max 100% (you can clearly see it during spool up where it is always 100%) and ~75-80% max at high rpms and max you can see in PWG cars is ~70-75% in spool up and max 68-70% in high rpms? why not 100% in pwg cars? some kind of ecu logic?

I have another log where I am hitting 13.02psi at 4905 RPM. This is Stage 2 not Stage 2+, car does not feel slow at all. Wife has a 535i and my previous car was a e90 with JB4 and it feels like it pulls harder. I was shifting early on these runs, cops everywhere.

Your boost levels look really low, like stock levels. Also there is a big discrepancy between your boost targets and actual boost.

look at your boost target @ 6000rpm its 13.6psi. actual boost is 9psi. and wgdc is 76% so car is trying hard to get desired boost, but with no success. leak for sure.

Well shit. I just got the chargepipe put on, I am curious if that wasn't installed correctly. It feels the same before chargepipe was put on though, and I am not throwing codes. I am going to try and do a better run and see if something changes, if not I am going to go a test done for the boost leak.
