Boost pressure question

I upgraded the charge pipe, and now it has rough shifts and is very jerky. When I unplugged the MAF, the rough shifts are gone but now I'm getting a code that the boost pressure is lower than expected and it definitely doesn't feel as fast for sure. I have a JB4 on it running map 1.

Indeed got all this with JB4, gone when removing JB4 and now even with a flash tune all gear shifts are smooth as butter.

You went with BM3? Considering that at this point.

No custom tune because bm3 doesn't fully support ah3 yet but 335i should be no problem.

Did the issue start right after adding the charge pipe? If so, that's your problem, not the jp4. You've got a vacuum leak.

Yea right after the charge pipe. I've checked all connections and the o rings. How would I know if my vacuum line is compromised?

Sounds like a boost leak on the chargepipe, oring missing, or meth bung caps missing. You can use the JB4 to help with diagnostics but recording a data log if you need help pinning down the issue.

It's easy to kink the o-ring on the charge pipe so check that. Alos, you really have to push the pipe ontop the throttle body. The first time I put mine on it wasn't all the way connected and the car ran like crap.

Checked the rubber connection for the er charge pipe and found that it wasn't tightened and was practically not connected to the other half of the pipe. Just finished driving after tightening it and all seems well, only noticed a slightly rough shift pushing from 80-90 mph but that could've been nothing as it didn't happen a second time. Thank you everyone for all the input! Car feels amazing having boost again.
