AC Schnitzer sports suspension upgrades for xDrive
Fantastic AC Schnitzer sports suspension is now available for XDrive cars, with or without the BMW adaptive system. If you already have AC Schnitzer suspension springs, the sports dampers can now be purchased as an upgrade. Compared to a spring kit, sports suspension offers a further improvement in body control, reducing bouncing and wallowing over bumps and undulations, and enhancing traction. This improvement comes about as a result of the high quality components used, and carefully chosen damping rates. For cars with adaptive, this function is no longer necessary and is deleted.
For complete kits, please see our website for details. Upgrade prices, for cars that already have AC Schnitzer suspension springs, are as follows: sDrive passive £1194.42 xDrive passive £1242.39 sDrive adaptive £1507.71 xDrive adaptive £1548.54 Prices include vat, but not fitting. There is no forum discount available, but if you're near enough to travel to us in Norfolk and already have our springs, give me a call about fitting, I have some good news for you Details for 3 series (F30/31): https://shop.rossiters.co.uk/sports-...f31-8106-p.asp Details for 4 series (F32/33): https://shop.rossiters.co.uk/sports-...f33-8113-p.asp Details for 4 series GC (F36): https://shop.rossiters.co.uk/sports-...f36-8118-p.asp Customer reviews (sDrive): https://shop.rossiters.co.uk/sports-...rom-2135-p.asp Last edited by Lorcan; 07-05-2018 at 11:12 AM.. |

Do springs ever "wear out" ?
I have ACS springs on factory dampers and plan to upgrade to full ACS Suspension soon... Am I wearing out my springs in the meantime ? |

They don't wear out but they do corrode over a period of years and then break. If your springs are, say, 2 years old I'd be quite happy to just get the dampers. If they are 5-7 years old I'd probably get the complete kit.

Are there actually adaptive dampers sold or is it an edc delete?

This particular product from ACS will include EDC Delete kit for vehicles with adaptive suspension. I am waiting for PnP Damptronic coilovers from Bilstein which have been delayed many times unfortunately.

I have a 330xd with ACS springs and getting tired of the original SE dampers.
Front to rear dampening is not great and it feels like it bounces down the road. Do these ACS dampers bring them in line / similar to M-Sport suspension or are they on the firm / track side? |

I'd say similar to M Sport, but not as firm as the previous generation M Sport 3 series E92 etc. which were too hard. "Firm but compliant" is how most people describe it. See the customer reviews here:
