335i Private seller with 58k miles

Hello all the N55 owners... I had a 428 and I was fairly active over on the N26 side of town but I lost my car to an accident. I was looking around and saw an F30 335i with 58k miles and it has no warranty. It is a fairly good deal tho so I was curious what common issues to look for when I go look at the car.

Other than whether or not it was tuned? For the mileage there's the electronic water pump which should fail before 100k miles, it's due for spark plugs at 60k miles, look for oil seeps around valve cover and OFHG. They will need to be done at some point. Charge pipe failure is common for tuned cars.

You need to take an indep mechanic who knows the N55 with you and check this out thoroughly
It may seem like a great deal but after major work it may not end up being so much a deal

That's what I'm thinking too.. I may try to find the extra cash for this clean 435 from a dealer... only 34k miles

I bought mine used from a private seller and he was able to transfer the CPO warranty to me. That's also an option.
