Question: M-Sport Steering wheel on 2016 328i
I just bought an M-Sport steering wheel for my 2016 328i xDrive.
I'm not sure whether I have LCI or pre-LCI but the listing says LCI as shown. Installing this shouldn't be an issue whether its LCI or pre-LCI right? Any help appreciated. Thanks |

That's irrelevant and should work with your car.

Just be careful with the airbag. American cars need a particular airbag that most non-American countries do not use. There is also the possibility of getting a counterfeit or rebuilt airbag.

There are also dual stage airbags being sold without a third connector. The third connector, I believe, is for adaptive dual stage airbags, which is what we need. So OP also has to make sure to get the adaptive dual stage airbag. I'm not sure where they're from, but there are dual stage airbags without the adaptive connector and those aren't compatible with our cars without coding. I'd avoid coding completely with something like an airbag.
