No more Guinness
Hi all
What else will brexit be blamed for. British pubs could run out of Guinness following Brexit, claims Lib Dem leader Sir Vince Cable Sir Vince Cable warned an extreme scenario caused by a no deal - or a very bad deal - could lead to the supply 'drying up'. |

They could always re-open the Park Royal Brewery they operated from the 1930's until 2005. Had they not moved local production from UK to the EU it wouldn't even be a consideration.
(No idea, but its probably trendy flats by now!) |

LOL well if it does England is probably one of if not there biggest market outside of Ireland so that will have a bigger impact on the Brewery than anything...

Thing is it doesn't matter who loses most, we all lose and this isn't a time for beggar thy neighbour policies it's actually a time to come together (oddly enough) and more than ever we'll need friends and so will they.

No it's not bonus at all, we need to keep it all going as before, free trade is the goal with anyone that has stuff we want and why wouldn't we want Guinness? ROI are a very close partner and we need to keep them very close and we will, hence Vince is talking nonsense as usual.

While I voted remain, I am all for the likes of Black & Decker moving back to UK, if Guinness lose jobs in Ireland tough titties. If they want to see Guinness in one of their biggest markets, open a brewery in Wales, England (Scottish are not cultured enough for Guinness, they are happy with 70 shilling and tennents super strength, oh and Buckfast). |

To warn people that the pubs might run dry if we leave the EU is a rather low, and alarming tactic.
If Vince wasn't a politician I'd know that there's at least hope for my liver. |
