M sport steering wheel retrofit airbag light

Hi,
I installed a m sport wheel on my car with a new m sport airbag i got from ebay. I installed it two weeks ago and today I got an airbag light. I tried clearing it with tool32 and it wouldnt go away. I havent tried putting my old wheel back yet. Did i get a bad airbag?

Update, i put in my old wheel and airbag. Cleared the code using tool32 and the light went away. Is it possible that the connectors were just loose? Could the temperature screw up some reading or something?

it's weird my friend changed his wheel from msport to the alcantara one, swapped over everything and not sure if it was same day or the next but he got the airbag light. tried clearing it wont clear. funny thing after weeks/moths cuz we never messed with it BUSY. one day I ended up coding his car using bimmercode and maybe in instrument section whatever I coded when it clears resets after coding, the airbag light went away and never came back since

i have a feeling that one of the connectors on the back was loose. I didnt have time to put it back in to check again. Turns out the guy i bought it from got the airbag from mintmarmar on ebay who is pretty reputable. I asked for help and they said they will swap it out for me. Id rather get a new one than worry about loose connectors in the future.
