is this a good idea to flush coolant?
Hello guys, I'm just wondering how to flush coolant from a F30 (335i) without removing any hose from the radiator, I'm thinking that a good idea to flush all the coolant from the system is to disconnect the hose that is connected to the reservoir tank, and then activate the water pump using the bleeding procedure to get out all the coolant from the system. Do you guys think is this possible ? Thanks in advance for your time to share your opinion on this wondering idea.

BMW doesn’t recommend coolant flushing on a set schedule anymore. Test the coolant first to see what kind of shape it’s in. I just had the original coolant in my ‘14 335i tested and the shop said it looks fine.

You might want to change your coolant BEFORE you see a rusty color. Rust is a sign of acidic coolant and oxidized metal. Do you want to wait until your engine starts to degrade or change the coolant preventively?

Well the reason that I want to change the coolant on this vehicle is because is not blue, is more a transparent color but not blue, definitely is not red or any other degraded or contaminated color but I feel more safe switching to the blue bmw thing !!!! I think that I'll disconnect the hoses attached to the water pump and then refill and bleed the system. Thanks again for your help guys !!!!
