MPPK to BM3 Stage 1, 93 otcane
Has anyone gone from a N55 MPPK to a BM3 stage 1 93octane tune? Was it a noticeable difference? Is the overrun burble the same, louder, or quieter? (I have MPE also)
I have the Enet cable sitting in front of me and I would totally go BM3 if I thought it would be a nice upgrade. If it is very similar to my current MPPK I won't bother until I can go full Stage 2. Thanks! |

MPPK is expected to gain you about 35 hp and 32 tq. I haven't dyno'd bm3 stage 1, 93 octane but I did stage 2, 91 octane and got a nice +100 hp and +150tq. I would expect stage 1, 93 octane to be +70 hp, +130 tq, a noticeable gain over MPPK. Exhaust burbles are adjustable but aggressive gunshot is not recommended unless you are catless.

I went from MPPK with Dinan Piggyback to Stage 1. BM3 will be a huge difference if you're starting with MPPK. I was fairly surprised and still am at the power difference.
Burbles on the OTS non-agg maps were fairly disappointing compared to what the MPPK added.

Can't you control the strength and duration of the burbles in BM3 anyway? You could map it to be just how it is in the MPPK.
