Just when i thought i had a slightly more reliable bmw...

Just went to install a bms occ on my 2013 335i. Barely touching the vent hose tabs broke 3 of them immediately. Then when i went to turn the hose an unsatisfying crunch from that... all the while i gently touched that little coolant return hose aaaand snap that went also.

The kicker to this is the catch can doesn't even fit where it's supposed to. Now i have multiple broken parts and no benefit....

I figured at some point things would get brittle but not after just 6 years. I thought i was done with this stuff after my e46.

Am i gonna have a problem with the pcv hose only having one tab now?

You might be ok, but if you want to replace the hose here's the part #

11127599753

i had a similar experience installing my custom catch can.

It's not just time, it heat cycles. These cars run hot. I'm not really sure what you broke off but hopefully, you can replace it cheaply and easily. I think I have created more damage with mods than anything. All we can do is live and learn....
