Hadn’t a clue about a lot of things tied with eSys and the launcher.
The script does work, try to change the time before running the script, and maintain that until you have finished what you are doing. I may turn to BimmerCode once I can get back to “default” or factory, so I can make a backup on there and continue making tweaks every now and again. eSys is really useful for full on retrofits of which I am not doing. I’d like to actually get a Pro license but that seems unlikely, so once back to basics and warranty work is adhered to, I’ll go down the bimmercode route. Don’t even have anything extravagant, 8.8” sceeen that comes in a 4 series, it would just look odd with the smaller controller. Electric seats don’t normally come with easy entry/exit do they? Then a few fun things I did like the Xmas/M logos, digital speedo display. It may all go unnoticed, but I have no relationship with the dealership and it’s my first visit. |

Enough with the workarounds already
I am going to get flamed for this, but here goes anyway. Why all this effort to find workarounds for the software? Is $50 really so big a price to pay for a rather useful piece of software? I don't think so.
More importantly, however, is the fact that you are donating money to a worthy cause. I donated to the BCRF and did so happily, despite the fact that I have donated my time and skills to the Breast Cancer Foundation here in New Zealand already. US$50 converts to NZ$73 which is really not a big deal. My grandmother died from breast cancer and I never got to know her as a result. Even scarier is the thought of my mother or sister having to go through that same drama. If my $73 makes even the smallest impact then I will be happy. Stop with the workarounds, donate the money, and if you really feel that strongly about it...flame away. #JustSaying |

I've paid directly to TM and heard nothing back and yes I do feel a bit cheated. If TM is no longer supporting his software then he should stop his automated emails asking for donations and just say so on the forums. I've asked PayPal to look into the transaction, honestly I have no idea if TM has really passed on the donation or just using my cash for a new car. |

I need to code for M Performance brakes (370mm) - I have Bimmercode, but you can't do that.

Yes, it's a VO code, not FDL

Im pretty sure you can code VO in Expert mode.
I had to code my SAT (2TB) sports auto transmission... in expert mode because it was also a VO code. Someone else please chime if they have knowledge... Just trying to help and I have a feeling BimmerCode is capable. Im also upgrading my brakes (to MSport) this spring and will likely need to know the answer to this very question! |

Isn't he just?
Can sort of understand it when others have ripped off and repackaged his stuff to sell. While this version's free I noticed that the token expires next year, so probably not a good long term solution.

This is a better option. Post #11
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1605618 All works fine on my diagnostic laptop, and despite what's being said about it containing malware, I can't find any. |

You will not be able to connect via VIN unless PSdZData is properly installed, and the Car and Laptop have a connection. For this: 1) The Target Connection Window should not be blank (It should show multiple target connections for different chassis') 2) ENET Cable must be good and making good contact in OBDII Port 3) Car must have proper voltage (Make sure motor is running if car is not on a Charger). 4) Laptop must not have Firewall or any Antivirus software running. 5) PC Lan Adapter should get a fallback IP address of 169.254.xxx.xxx (Make sure it is using DHCP and does not have a Static IP address assigned to it)
