What did you do to your F3X today?

Changed the basic iDrive controller to the NBT touch controller, mainly for the look, and just received and installed AmbientModz door light strips. Very pleased with the results. Keen to see what it looks like at night.

Installed FTP charge and intake pipe. Not a bad process, just slightly annoying removing the C clips.

Upgraded the intake to a CTS Turbo intake. I am in 😍😍. Sounds amazing!

I was skeptical because the price was low, but I'm really happy with the quality. The finish is really nice. Doesn't feel cheap at all. They fit perfectly and snapped right in. Note, they sell it in matte black too. I got the gloss black because from what I could tell the gloss looks better on a black car. But matte finish (if you like that) can look great with any other color. Also looks like I said $45, I meant $55.

Well, I caved and removed the 428i badge a week after removing the xDrive badge. Looks much nicer since I have the sport line and all the trim is black with no chrome including the kidney grilles.

Looks nice! What kind of spoiler is that? I've been looking for a low profile/lip spoiler. Not a fan of the chunkier ones

Yes they work but only raise it 2 points. From 93 to 95. It’s noticeable.

I installed the same one in black. However, the magnetic ball combo they sent sucked. My phone kept slipping off. I had to order a different magnetic one and replace it.

really ? that doesnt sound too good. I tried my phone and it held but i have not driven the car with the phone on the magnet yet but i will take your word for it. Did you order the new magnet from the same manufacturer? And how did you do it exactly ? You took the screw out from the back ? Thanks for the heads up
