I didn't flash before and I hope to be able. Before flashing HU_NBT2 do I have to flash the ZGW at the same I-Step level I will use for NBT-Evo? I will use a bench for coding/flashing with an ZFW2 from an F10 |

Hello all,
I had retrofit the reverse camera, hardware wasn't an issue, camera was working after VO coding 3AG and coded the rest of the ECU's. only the ECU of the TRSVC couldn't find the correct CAFD, in fact he didn't had any CAFD file. I tried this option: Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on desired TRSVC => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown => Select OK => Right-Click on FEM_BODY (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE. But there was the KIS error CAFs for "swf1_00000468-013_002_001 not found, so I looked for the latest PSDZdatabase V4.17.11 Full version and still no CAFD file available. Can I reset the ECU of the TRSVC or inject another CAFD so I don't have this camera error message on the dash? Last edited by Freebeeman; 05-12-2019 at 11:21 AM.. |

Hello Shawnsheridan,
I tried now for two days to flash, every time there is an error like "VCM isn't updated", then I went 3.32 to E-SYS 3.27 next error "SVK-Ist does not match". So I think I used a wrong I-step. I'm worried that when I push to far I brick my car. But thank you for your help. |

This "SVK-Ist does not match expected SGBMIDs for ecu..." means you have chosen an improper I-Step Shipment when you made your SVT Target (SVT_soll). The problem is that this ECU is not factory original, so ECU I-Step Shipment is different then your car's actual I-Step Shipment, and you have no way of knowing what the right I-Step Shipment is for this ECU. So, redo flash, but this time after you calculate SVT Target (SVT_soll), check the box that says "HW-IDs from SVTactual" and then Save it. If HWEL is Black only, no Red / Blue HWEL, then you can proceed to flash it. If HWEL is not Black only, the only thing you can do is try different I-Step Shipment dates until hopefully one works. This is simply Trial and Error.

Thank you for the new information. I tried with almost 10 versions of I-Step (ship), ticket "HW-IDs from SVTactual" and everytime I calculated the I-Sep version without succes. It's taking almost 5 minutes per calculation and there are at least 30-40 I-step versions, so yes it's trial and error. I tried without calculating anly ticked "HW-IDs from SVTactual" but I think this not checking if it's the correct version. I'm going to return the unit and try to find another one that will work. Thank you very much for your support and effort you put into this, keep up the good work. |

The dealer recoded my 2016 340X to stop the A/C unit from freezing up in hot, humid weather. The good news is that for the first time since the car was new, the adaptive headlights are now working as designed.
On the other hand, they wiped out the coding done by Ryan Lee, whom I can't seem to find. If you're here Ryan, please PM me. I tried connecting the esys cable and ran the software, but I'm getting errors. Shawn, would you please be available to guide me by phone as I do it? |
