Thanks for the tip. IAT and Ambient temp are checked. Maybe it will catch them on the next log.

So final response from PTF is that their 91 octane is running OK, however the 91ACN would be more suitable for Washington 92 octane... However, the 91ACN tune is not available in the "OTS Maps" so waiting for some them to send. Still surprised our 92 is not good enough for their OTS 91 octane tune.

Really would like some other input from other WA BM3 users. Did they eventually go for a custom tune? If so, who did you use?

I’m in Woodinville area and always get 92 Costco gas and run their Stage 2 91 octane map with no issues. I posted my log here and verified by PTF. No problems.

I'm about 3 miles from the Woodinville Costco. Will try their gas next tank and give it a shot.

Looked up your log and it appears very similar to mine. Not sure why there are saying the 91 ACN would be more suitable for me.

Thank you for the feedback!

What kind of FMIC do you have? It’s keeping the IAT pretty low from what I can see, which is good.

i upgraded to an xdi 35 hpfp because bm3 told me my old one was struggling to keep up, the stutter/ hesitation continues. i have had this stutter since the first time i flashed the bm3 tune. i am now fbo stage 2 and have new spark plugs gapped correctly and new ignition coils aswell

it has to be lpfp not pumping enough fuel up to the hpfp. theres no way my stock hpfp crashes and now my xdi 35 pump crashes. make no sense

also i have heard that the lpfp runs out of power before the hpfp, i now have 30 percent more flow in the hpfp and it still occurs, not as much but its still there. after i get an aem intake i am saving for a lpfp upgrade. then a walnut blast, then tic chargepipe, then ps2.

i have run e30 maps as well in the past, the stutter was much worse when running these maps which leads me to believe the culprit is the lpfp when on 93 and e30 blend.

Is it really necessary to change spark plug to run FBO stage 2 93 octane tune from bm3? Or keeping the stock one is fine?

Timing looks bad and you're overboosting a lot. There were three knocks detected. What octane gas are you using? If you can get higher octane, you should do that. If not, you should run the ACN map.

Stage 2 runs perfectly fine for me on stock plugs. I think the key is to replace the plugs at a decent interval regardless of the make.

Just added the Stage 2 91 - charge-pipe, FMIC, and Catt-less DP.

What a difference. Also did the trans tune and boy are the shifts so much faster.

Loving it so far. May move to the ACN map since I am in AZ and see if it feels any better.

Great product so far.

So it seems the problems continue...

My turbo has felt like it is hitching and stuttering under medium to heavy thottle in the 2500-4000rpm range, and recently it has been getting worse. It's honestly starting to feel like my clutch is slipping and the computer cuts engine power and then it keeps going afterwards like nothing happened to redline

I've been going back and forth with PTF and all I have been told so far is that I have bad octane. I recently switched from Chev 94 (which I have been told by others is also bad) to Shell 91 (which others have said was the best around Vancouver). So even with Shell 91 it seems that my area's gas is bad so I'm not sure what to do other than octane booster??

Also not sure how slippage/turbo stutter relates to octane or how you tell this from the log. The problem is present on stage 2, stage 1, 6.3, 6.4, 0+, etc.. Anyway if anyone may have some insight on this I'd totally appreciate it!

Western Canadian gas isn't very good, you need to run Boostane or request an ACN91 tune from PTF. We have similar fuel quality to California, Nevada, Arizona, so there is a tune for it.

About to flash Stage 1 93 octane. I have MPE installed. Can I expect any difference in sound and if so, what difference?

Thank you!

You can change the sound a lot via customizable burble settings

Yes you will have more burbles from the default settings and you can adjust them as well or completely turn it off

Does anyone know what the burble slider settings are for OTS stage 2 on the EWG n55?

I am looking to change mine to do 2 pops in sport and 3 pops in sport + with about the same level of aggression.

I have head about 0.6s gets you 3 bangs, can anyone confirm?

The OTS setting is way too long IMO.
