Need advice

Hello!! So I have a 2017 320 with 225/45/18, I have the chance to get some 235/40/18 and 255/40/18 back , would this work? I lowered tha car with sport springs and not sure ...

are your 397's staggered widths? or are they 18x8 square and you're planning to put staggered tire sizes on 8"? if it's the latter, 255 is not recommended on 8" wide.

also, 255/40/18(26") is oem size but 235/40/18 is 25.4" so it'll have a bit of forward rake to have even wheel gaps, which is not necessarily bad thing and much better than a reverse rake scenario.

i prefer tire sizes closer to oem diameter.

Is 18*8 square... so you wouldn't recommend it? Should I stick with the 225/45/18?

Yes oem 225/45/18

or 235/45/18, slightly wider and taller

or 245/40/18, slightly shorter and 20mm wider

I have sport springs in mine, but think I have enough clearance.
