I didn't do anything but what my 340i did was save my life. Going down a highway in central Florida with rain absolutely pouring I hit standing water, kept steering input to minimum but I was able to feel the car doing things underneath me and I was able to drive away in one piece, not so much the Camry behind me which hit less water (because I already dispersed some of it) started hydroplaning and smashed into the barrier.

Little car love day:

Finally updated my BM3 v6.3 to 6.4 and took the burbles back down to OEM level.
Did their gearbox software flash (haven’t tested it yet)
Oil Change - while 7 quarts is a bit of oil it’s an improvement over the V8 Audi’s I had (9.5-10qts)
She needs a bath though but too much sun now, maybe this evening.

Picked it up from the garage for it still to be misfiring even though they had rang me saying it was fixed.

Now trying injectors

What did they do to fix it? I had a misfire issue and the dealer didn't even swap the coil the first time, said they can't replicate the misfire, which was so stupid of them. Then second time they swapped the coil and misfire followed with it so finally they replaced the coil and all back to normal.

Had my bumper fixed from where it was damaged in shipping and had them install my spoiler while they were at it.

Replaced the boost solenoid (pressure converter), part # 11747626351.

I was getting the telltale humming intermittently so I decided to go ahead and swap it out. Super easy. 15 minute job if you know what you're doing. Paid about $85 shipped for the part (Pierburg OE, genuine BMW part is almost twice that).

They swapped coils over from misfiring cylinder two to one and the misfire disappeared for them.

When I drove it the misfire was evident straight away.

It all started when I changed the plugs during a service. It misfired after changing them so I changed back to the originals and it still misfired. Replaced all 4 coil packs and it still misfired.

That's why they think it is the injectors.

Looks nice! Might want to keep the towels in some ziploc bags though to prevent them from picking up garage dust.

I put in some CarShades blinds. They clip in. I didn't use the tailgate glass ones yet...

Jury's out. Nice to keep the car a little cooler and with the tint you can't really notice them outside...

Can you be more specific on the humming? I get a humming/whine noise when driving say 60 and I give it minor gas. It sounds like its coming from the back of the car (fuel pump?) but cant place it. I drive a f30 320i.
