Could this be the country fair you're thinking of? I've looked at the Chatsworth website and can't see anything later in the year.... typically, I'm away for the country show weekend in August so can't make that

Nice, they wear well. I picked up the Gulf edition recently. Nice on a nato too.

So Labor Day is the Monday after you leave. That weekend should have some sales.

If you by from an AD I would ask if they can ship the box back for you. Take all the cards and extra links etc out. They're quite accommodating to make a sale...

Enjoy your holiday!

Thank you, I'll see what happens. My wife said I should have waited but I got mine for half new price and it still has a bit of TAG warranty with it.

No, as I said earlier, there's small outlet at the country fair.

The event is called Sellors Christmas Wishes, it's in November. Just google it for this years event at Chatsworth.

If you look at the video from last year it'll give you an idea of the scale.

I couldn't get on with the skx007, tried 2 and they both had chapter ring and alignment issues. Swapped it for a Seiko Samurai in the end.

Shame. I have 3 models and changed the strap to a different brand. Mine are all aligned but I have seen that issue.

For a beater watch there good for me!

You can barter at most High Street jewellers and get great discounts. I bought a £2300 Tag Carrera for £1700 a couple of years ago from Sellers (local chain) and got a £750 discount on a Breitling at Beaverbrooks earlier this year.

Sure you can beat it a little online, but I prefer the face to face buying experience when I buy a new watch. Plus, like to be able to walk back into the same shop if anything goes wrong with it.

Another vote for Heritage Watches, excellent savings to be had from these guys and excellent service too, they deal with a few different brands, I purchased a Breitling Colt through them.

My bad on the spelling, it's Sellors, although I think I typed it right and my iPad corrected it for me.

It's a really good event, you can register for it now, it's on the 9th and 10th of November.

If you ring them first you could ask them to take both of those watches, as it's Sellors that owns Jura it shouldn't be a problem.

That navitimer is the one you want. They seem to either appreciate in value or atleast hold steady, plus its a classic design!!

Thats good advice cheers.

Will be interesting to see what i can get off a Breitling as the online discount code they have (10%) works on the Tag but not the Breitling??

Play one high street retailer against each other , I saved 12% off the price of a Seamaster 300 and a combined 20% from Ernest + Jones when we purchased an Ebel for the missus and a Tag F1 for myself.

Agree although I would expect minimum 20% off Omega, Tag and Breitling
