Just trying to keep the time line of this post going so I apologize for old pictures but for those that wanted to know what the sleeve work looks like from Darton and the Mazworx's guys down in FL. Also if you look at the post it will show you guys the serial number for the which edition B58 I am doing this platform. I had a fellow b58 member ask me what year my car is so I did just want to clarify I am not a new B58 TU I am the gen before the new m340i's, Supra's, and Z4's so we are all on the same page.

I have definitely been in communications with both Spool and Dorch, as well as, XDI but let's just say I really don't like how they go about business just personally speaking. Nothing against the team and their products just not really for me per say.

- I guess due to something being wrong with pistons/rods your cilinder walls got damaged causing you the need to put darton sleeves? Did you put other pistons/rods as well at this point?
- Did you determine what was wrong with rods / pistons? Where did you get them from? What did supplier say?

So we're 8 months out from early May and you have yet to drive the car decently? I feel very sorry you had to go through this whole process. Even if you have a spare car and can't drive this car it shouldnt be 8 months for rods/pistons and turbo install.

Hope you get that all sorted and can enjoy the car soon!
I figured this questions was going to come up sooner or later haha but so realistically everything you mentioned above is true the real reason for such a crazy wait was because I didn't feel comfortable with the pistons and rods after the first hick up so re-order those which took about a month and a half, darton sleeve work took about 22 business days to send to me as well plus with it being shipped to a different state for installation just cause a 2 week build up on transportation alone. We also ran into a problem with main bearings since there was that big issue with the recall on bearings for the b58 King said they were back order for 2 months by the time we finally sourced them we had waiting a good month and half. So you probably could have cut out a good 4 ish months on just waiting on stuff plus I was in no real rush pressuring the shop as it wasn't my main car& new this was a one of one build for the team & didn't want to cause any more issues than the ones we ran into already.

All in all great question and glad to see someone willing to ask the tough stuff. That is really why I did this post to air out any craziness that you may go through with doing shit like this

Update for the day did the last oil change today and everything looks perfect! She gets on the dyno next Friday due to us having horrible weather here in GA. First tune will be a base pump map & then we will turn it all the way up on pump. Next tune will be with WMI Kit, & than probably HPFP or some what in that order. But it will all start in the next week or so. Also dialed in the fitment of the new wheel set up. What do you guys think? Also if you guys have any suggestions feel free to respond anyway you would like?

German cars and JDM wheels were made for each other I love my Rays. It's nice having wheels under 19lbs that can handle potholes with ease.

Truthfully way to aggressive haha but than again I fucked up my fenders a long time ago when I was stance so that is why it works but rears are Apex AR-C's 17x9 et 42 with a 275/40/17 M/T ET Street with -.7 of camber (pulled rear fenders) fronts are 18x8.5 ET 36 with a Nitto 555's 255/35/18 & 5mm spacer & -3.7 camber for now probably going to knock out the spacer & dial out that camber but had got the tires for free so was like can't say no to free 99. Since I am not tuned I figured I would run this set up & than will reset it all for a real set up to put down all the tires to the ground but for now the stance guy in me is coming out hard!

Sorry, but why they hell would you install that much of a spacer up front? Makes no sense in the first place.
