Just another suspension question

I have a 2018 430 GC x-drive, thinking of lowering it using either H&R sport or Dinan with Dinan shockware. Which of the the two would you recommend? I dont tract and its my daily, i just want it for looks. Secondly, i got Quoted $700 for install... is that a fair price? Thank you in advance.

Does your car have M Adaptive suspension? I sense it does based on Dinan shockware mentioned in the original message.

bimmerluver, thanks for confirming. There isn't anything inherently wrong with lowering springs per se. At the same time, springs will lower your vehicle without any mechanism to adjust the height after installation. Some drivers are very particular about suspension height (aka wheel gap) and I just wanted to mention it.

Good thread to read if you are leaning towards Dinan springs:

I think H&R sport for looks. Super sports are too low IMO. You should be fine with the active shocks. I paid $200 from my local mechanic.

Hows the ride? Did you purchase a bump stop as well? Thats a good price for installation.

i have the m-performance suspension on my car, so my opinions, suggestions and bias is based on what i've read here since 2015.

i'd get one of the two(higher or lower) eibach prokit spring setups, with these bump stops

Front F8x bump stops: 31336859768
Rear F8x bump stops: 31337847662

i'd try it like this 1st and only add shockware if i was unsatisfied

I kept the OEM stops. After a crazy amount of research it seems that most keep their stock bump stops. The ride isn't great. Definitely under dampened with OEM shocks.
