New plugs, coils, oil every 8k km and shell v-power racing only gets into the tank. Timing chain and oil pump already have been revisited at 70k km. Also my car has been fully logged under the maximum load and everything is more then fine. For example IAT are around 30 degrees Celcius (compared to 60 degrees Celcius with the stock FMIC ). |

I am curious myself, till now I have ran several 0-100km/h times with driftbox and the best I have achieved is 5.1 sec. The car is RWD. |

I have Stage 1 BM3 rn on my 320. Would recommend it. I have only heard of FloridaOranges unlucky with his engine, but you figure one engine over a few thousand or so isn't too bad of a failure rate. |

You must be lucky - or part of PTF PR team - mine had 48k miles and started with a really rough idle then threw a drivetrain malfunction and did eternal damage that wasn't fixable.(joking of course about the PR) |

I'm rwd and almost never spin unless I do something wrong in the launch. AWD will have slightly better 60ft times (maybe 1.7 vs RWD with 1.8-1.9) but will have a lower trap speed (maybe 101-105 with RWD at 105-109) so it ends up balancing out for the most part. The two fastest n20s currently are RWD.

My torque seems to be high though (around 450nm at the crank, the maxium that I wanted to have due to preservation of the cylinder head and the ZF transmission) - at least according to the magic dyno . However, I have driven recently my friend's stock 330i with the b48 and I have to say that his torque does not compare lol. Top end also dies thanks to the eco-map and the cat being in place . floridaorange I had a rough idle issue too last year, swaped the coils and the problem seems to be gone. To be honest this n20 idles rough from the very beginning, even with the stock map of 180 bhp. I am suprised tbh that you had both FMIC and the downpipe installed, rigorous maintenance and the piston blew. Were the other pistons fine? Have you found out the possible cause? @[Steakpizza] Haha you are right, let's keep fingers crossed for the head not to crack and pistons not to blow . Assuming that the dyno's number are correct and a 15% drivetrain loss I am making 280wtq (ftlb), which doesn't seem too excessive but high enough. And btw. my gains seems to be similar to those of the JB4 map5 . https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...=849566&page=5 Best regards Nait Last edited by Naiters; 01-10-2020 at 02:49 PM.. |

Hi! I have bootmod3 stage 1 on my 2017 320i. I'm at around 260hp and around 310 torque. My 0-60 is 4.93 seconds- faster than a stock 328i/30i. I also have a k&n drop in air filter. In addition, I also coded Sports Automatic Transmission and Sport + using BimmerCode. I chose bootmod3 because it adjusts all parameters rather than just a few- which is what a piggy back does. Thus making it safer. Also, the customer support of PFT is phenomenal. They are always updating the maps which is incredible. Data logging and stuff are easy with the WiFi agent. Overall, I love bootmod3 stage 1. The power is incredible. It reallllllly wakes the car up. Especially with the transmission flash they have. Both in conjunction have brought my 0-60 to 4.93 second. And trust me, you can really feel it

I need to get dragy and do more accurate runs. What I would do is use the obd wifi agent and screen recorded on my phone and just trim the video down 😂

But it's through the obd port! It literally reads out whatever the car is saying. Maybe the inaccuracy is with the trimming of the video. If anything, my car would be faster than 4.93 because it can only allow me to trim so much.

But you don’t know the slope... could be downhill. But I trust dragy or RL more anyway. Both of them shows almost the same numbers as racing telemetry.
