Suspension Demo & Comparison Day Highlights
Some of us local Bay Area enthusiasts got together this past weekend to try each other's setups. We had stock suspensions, aftermarket spring/damper combos, coilovers (such as Bilstein and Ohlins), and a bespoke Fat Cat Motorsports tuned suspension. Big thanks to andino, jh_f30, kreuz, Moupe, and romemedrano for coming out and making it a great day! Here's some footage and thoughts comparing what we drove (watch on YouTube so you can see the index and skip to the parts that interest you).
Some other notes on the cars: -andino, full front monoballs makes this wagon SUPER responsive with the steering wheel. -jh_f30, great job with the steering wheel wrap! It looks and feels good. -kreuz, this car puts power to the ground so well with the Ohlins, LSD, and H&R rear sway bar. -Moupe, super individual build! I wish I had an interior as nice as yours. -romemedrano, one of the few people that truely understands how to put an effective splitter and air dam together. Hope I can hit the track with you sometime.

Great video. Could not agree more about the comment directed towards Ohlins R&T coilovers: perhaps the best out of the box coilovers.

Thanks for setting it up FaRKle!! It was good seeing you again and meeting some new people. Very interesting to feel the differences in different setups. Hope we can do another meetup soon. Maybe a backroad drive, autocross event or track day.
