"Mods don't add value."

Before someone says this, it's true if you're trying to reach a broader market, but to the right buyer the mods you have listed will add some value, but not much.

With the mods you have listed, and the high end of KBB being $28,000, I'd list it for $32,500 as a starting point and be willing to negotiate. Also, maintenance items will add a lot more 'value' than modifications.

I like this and it sounds reasonable. Someone who is looking for one of these but sees the mods, list, thought process, and great photos with a car detail you'll catch the higher end of the KBB. Another route is to part out the car little by little for stock pieces + cash and you'll recover more money that way. it's a long grueling process, however.

I always shoot high when selling a car, and work my way down. FWIW. IF you want $30k out of it, list it for $35,000, then someone will feel like they're getting a deal when it gets lowered to $32,500.

Not to use those numbers in particular, just as an example.

Or list it high and wait until somebody tries to lowball you thinking they got themselves a good deal.
