I've got a 2013 F31 320d xDrive with a rust issue.

There is a patch on the bottom right corner of the tailgate, another above the left light cluster on the tailgate and then a strip of about 2cm along the bottom of all 4 doors and both front wings where they meet the sill. The whole of these sections are bubbling!!

It was into my local dealer for a look yesterday and they have said the tailgate is something they'll ask BMW about but the rest of it is due to stone chips.

I could understand that if I drove through Kielder every day like Colin McRae but I don't.
Feels like the guy was suffering from a lack of Christmas cheer and is taking the mickey.
Can anyone suggest my next step?

By the way they said the paint is original.
