update- today was hot as hell in NYC and the CEL came back on. I guess heat has something to do with it

Why are you on a forum, instead of on the phone/emailing to get a replacement? I'm more curious if they back up their product.

It shouldn't be a thread about what causes a CEL on a product that guarantees no CEL, but how the company handles a replacement.

hundreds if not thousands of these downpipes are currently i use, I have seen less than a handful of CEL complaints, and all of them got replaced as far as I know.

In my opinion, the effectiveness and warranty of this product is not in question

+1, never had a bad experience with AA.
