are plugs included as part of 4 year maintenance?
I just picked up a 2018 340. the 4 year warranty ends this november, and I have an oil change coming up in around 2000 kms. the car has 56k on it. i'll bring the car to the dealer, since the oil change will be covered... but would they also swap plugs at that point considering the car is at the 4 year mark?

So your warranty won't cover spark plugs, since it'll be a maintenance item, but you likely have an extended maintenance plan and are getting it a bit confused.
You'll have to check your maintenance plan to see if they'd be covered. I think the official recommendation is 60,000 miles, so whether they'll replace them a little early for you is up in the air. Honestly though best thing to do is just call your dealership and ask them. |

thanks for the reply i didn't purchase the extended maintenance plan actually. but i did read that plugs are included as part of the 4 year / 80,000kms maintenance plan (i know i said warranty). I'll check with the dealership.
i did purchase extended warranty but obviously that isn't covering maintenance, so after november, i'm on my own for maintenance stuff. |
