Hi guys,
My new to me F36 xdrive with edc is equipped with 624m and Michelin's.

Since the tire swap from the pirelli's the front rubs at about 1 full turn only when reversing… I know Michelin's sidewall is a bit more beefy…

I'd like to fit some spacers to the front and rears but unsure whether it's possible and/or will rub even harder?

Need some recommendations regarding spacer sizes if it's possible.

Wheel dimensions:
Fronts: 8J x 20 os: 36
Rear: 8.5J x 20 os: 47

Tires: Michelin Pilot AS
Front: 225/35/r20
Rear: 255/30/r20

First off, welcome. I'm sure you've seen the massive wealth of knowledge these people have and experiences we can all share, so take advantage!

To answer your question, I have the same wheels, and before I swapped the tires, they were the stock p zero's, 225/35 front, 255/30 rear. I had no rubbing, no spacers, so that's interesting to me.

As I have an f32, I found out the wheel wells are differently sized between f30 and f32, so where I have little rub, an f30 may have more rub due to a narrower well. I wonder if the f36 has the f30 sizing or f32

I have since swapped the wheels to 255/35/20 square. This has increased my rolling diameter to 27", and it rubs just slightly on full lock. I also have installed 10mm spacers up front and 15mm in the rear. It's roughly the same amount of rubbing but that is due more so to my higher rolling diameter.

If you stay at stock, 25.9 or 26" if I recall, you should be fine? Do you have pictures of where it rubs on your fenders?
