Great catch! Thank god there were CSL easter eggs in this, or the ad would have been a total joke. That looks like a frozen silver (or yellow? but could be haze from the lights) with glossy black wheels.

So you don't miss the beautiful cars, the driver's cars, the "M" only going on something special? It's not a problem that the cars are changing. It's just... disappointing that the focus and what the brand was known for is changing.

Really hard for me to pin together their racing heritage and whatever the hell they're doing now. Whole video plays like a unity campaign and M is coming out of the closet.

That could also be the upcoming M4 GT4 which has not been revealed yet. I doubt that large of a wing will show up on a road going car... that looks motorsport

I sincerely do not understand the "M" going on something special though. That has serious "well if you have it I don't want it anymore" energy, I never quite got why that makes a difference. It's really not like the M340i's etc are stealing from the M3's thunder, either. Same thing about that one dude who commented "there were no white males in this video". I don't understand why that makes a difference, especially when you consider from a marketing standpoint the "25-50yo white male" will be buying a BMW, M or not. Why waste money advertising to the target audience already when you can expand your audience? That's almost like complaining that you can get Irish whiskey outside of Ireland |

BMW M division stopped being a motorsport division years ago and is nothing more than a lifestyle products division. Pretty shameful. Focus on cars and less on culture please.

There's like an m3 in this video every half second. That's not the target demo, needs to be SUVs, EVs and fast looking large sedans.
Can't wait to get one of each. P.S. - I jest.

Reading through this thread is hilarious, so many complaints and negativity. I personally don't see anything wrong with the ad, in fact I think it was quite cool.
