Engine Braking not working
Hello Bimmers,
I have a 2016 340i 6 Speed Manual and even the dealer cannot help why the engine braking does not work when I shift to lower gears. It used to but stopped after the 50k mile service. I also changed the tires to non run flat around the same time so can’t say when it stopped. But it definitely was just fine and used to decrease the speed when I dropped gears. Very strange that the dealer kept the car for a week and says they compared it with another 340i 6MT and it’s the same. I do not understand and know definitely something is wrong. Anyone has any idea what might have gone wrong? |
