Is it possible to turn interior light off?

Is there any way to make the interior light off?
I want to make it work only when i press the button.
I don't want it to be on when i open the door or unlock the car.

How do you turn it back on? I did this and it works to disable the interior light.

I tried turning it back on so when the door is opened the interior lights turn on like the default setting. I checked my manual and it says to turn on the light with the middle button and long press it for 3 seconds (so basically this toggles it on/off). I even tried pressing it for 3 seconds with the light turned off but neither worked.
