Bulge in the bumper

Hello guys, I'm having a weird issue and I could use some ideas.
As you can probably see in the pics, the middle part of my bumper is higher than the sides, and it's actually touching the trunk door.
The thing is that while driving, the door vibrates and a scratch is developing on the bumper.

Any ideas on how to make the bumber sit even?

Somebody had the bumper cover off and did not reinstall it correctly. Bumper covers are pretty simple to remove as DIY projects go - pull it off and see what's holding up the center section. Or even before pulling it off, figure out what bolts inside the trunk hold it - loosen them and see if you get enough play to move it.

And as long as you don't let it get much worse, that wear mark on the bumper can probably be rubbed out.

This video should give you an idea how the rear bumper is fastened so you will know what to look for if maybe some fasteners are missing, etc. It may be a simple fix.
