435i Cooling Issues

2015 435i
Last week I had a check engine light come on, I had a buddy run the code and it was referencing coolant temps. I noticed mid drive the next day that my A/C started blowing room temperature air rather than cold air. Once I got home I checked under the hood and the coolant hose that connects to the expansion tank was ruptured, and the car was hot even 4 hours after the engine was off

Today I changed the hose and replaced the engine coolant temp sensor, along with a full flush and bleed, however my engine light is still on. I went for a short 5km drive and things felt OK. I did notice though that my engine oil temperature gauge is stuck all the way left after the drive and running for about 20 mins

The digital menu has the following readings on accessory mode (after engine has cooled)

O.temp.sensor
205~ ADC

O.temp.raw data
+23.5 C

Coolant temp.
-128 C

Oil temp.
+63 C

So what else could cause the coolant temp to be off if I have a brand new sensor?

Sounds like your new temp sensor is faulty. Put the old one back in?

Edited for accuracy
