Ya. Edge 5w30 K. Similar approvals as M1 ESP 5w30. It's also API SP so it passes the latest API timing chain test for TGDI engines. This is in addition to the timing chain wear tests under the euro certs.
Irrelevant. API SP Timing chain test is done on Toyota A25 engine that doesn't have any timing chain issues.
All BMW specifications have timing chain test performed on N20 since 2018.
Generally for timing chain longevity you want thicker oil and lots of ZDDP.

It's a Ford 4-cylinder Ecoboost modified with an enlarged ring gap to increase blow-by to approx 7L/M. I don't know how this test compares to chain wear tests required by the European automakers.

Ford engine is used for LSPI testing as far as I know. BMW approval has specific test that addresses issues that were present with N20/26 engines. Also, MB and VW have their own timing chain tests. API in general is far behind in stringency compared to ACEA and especially specific manufacturer tests.

It's LL, so no worries there. But I'd stay with a 5w-30 in a warm climate.

0-20 too thin but perfectly fine to run. I like 0-40 or 5-40

The n55 is not rated for 0w20, so no it's not guaranteed to be safe to run.
