UPDATE: THIS PROJECT WAS COMPLETED. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED.
Looking for volunteers within driving distance of Pleasanton CA who own a BMW F30 model with either Front 370mm brake rotors or Front 312mm brake rotors. The attached photos show how to measure your brake rotor size right through the front wheel. Takes just a couple of minutes. It would only take 1-2 hours of your time on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, scheduled with you in advance. They would remove one front wheel and take a laser scan of the inside of the wheel wheel. It’s pretty cool to see. These computer scans create 3D files that assist in auto parts product development. These are the only two scans that are needed to complete the F30 scan library. Please respond if you have one of these two cars and are interested in volunteering to drive it over to Pleasanton to be laser scanned. Thanks! John |
