Ceramic coating freshly painted car in south Florida
Hi all! I’m not sure if this has been asked before, but I have not seen any with similar circumstances asked. I live in hot south Florida. My car was freshly painted end of December and handed to me on January 11th.
I spoke to the shop that painted it and they said back in February that I could get it coated already. That seemed way too optimistic. I have an appointment to ceramic coat my car on March 7th. I know the recommendation is 30-90 days. I park outside in the driveway where it’s hot 80°+ all day. Is 55+ days more than enough time? |

Yeah dude you're totally good to go, especially with that weather. Just make sure the paint is 100% swirl and contaminant free before applying ceramic coating, even if it was just painted there could be imperfections.
