Adjust bonnet/hood
View post on imgur.com Hi, My bonnet sags below the fender line at the corner, it's worse on the drivers side. Pictures above. I've read up lots on how's to adjust, but I can't help but think that if I raise the bonnet by unscrewing the two catches and increasing the hood bump stop height then this will cause the front of the bonnet to sit higher than the top/middle of the bumper. In turn, the top/middle of the bumper would need aligning...? What do you guys think? Thanks for any input. |

I'd say that the adjustment has to be at the hinges where they attach to the hood. On your picture I can clearly see that the hood is protruding forward and not above the fender line. The hood needs to slide back (i.e. towards the windshield). This way the flow lines above the headlight will align and the fender gaps will become adequate. The fender gap on your photo looks extremely tight or, even, non existent. Was the car in the accident or did someone take the hood off for some reason?
