Help with choosing tire
Hi all!
I am driving BMW 318d, 2016, and i would like to replace my winter tyres with non runflats. Tyre size i am looking for should be 225/50/17. From the tyre, i expect comfort ride and as less cabin noise as possible. I doubt between: - Michelin Primacy 4+ 98Y XL (which indexes? XL or not XL, V or Y? - I lost there, since i can't find what BMW recommends) - Michelin Pilot Sport 5 98Y XL I would like to go with PS5, but i am afraid that they are more noisy and less comfortable than Primacy 4+? The roads are not so great here, a lot of bumps here and there, that's why i am looking for comfortable tyre. Should i use XL tyres with higher speed index, or i can go with 94v? Does it matter at all? Feel free to recommend me other one, if you think it is better fit for me. Does anyone have experience with any of those on F30? Thank you in advance! I decided and went with Michelin Primacy 4+ 98Y XL, but what i found is that steering wheel is not so soft and easy (which i liked) as it was before with Blizzaks..
Is this normal? |
