[HELP!] Flat Tyre Monitor (RPA) failure [Error Code: 48070C]
The Flat Tyre Monitor (RPA) failure just appeared on my iDrive screen this morning when I started the car.
I read the code with ISTA+ / Rheingold and read the code "48070C" with a description of "Tyre failure indicator: Data implausible." I have read posts about changing the ABS sensor behind the brake discs could solve the problem. However, I don't know which one to change.

Hi
I had a tpms failure. A local garage was luckily able to check the sensors were signalling. I believed it to bw the TPMS received but he couldnt tell me where it was. After a bit of research it pointed to under the car but my F30 2016 335d has its TPMS sensor located on the parcel shelf. You have to remove the rear seat side bolsters and pull out the pin-plug type fasteners and for the shelf (dropping down therear seat backs) then pull the fasteners lift the shelf careful and there are two modules. The smaller module is the TPMS receiver. Old part number 9397846-01 New part number 61357928663 |
