Anyone used these front camber bushings?

I’m being told I need camber plates by my tire guy. He knows his shit but he’s a tire guy. Last time I got tires we couldn’t get it within spec. That was 2 years ago.

Now my tires are cupped. To be fair I did drop a bit more a few months later.

I don’t want any noise so was trying to steer clear of camber plates. I’m reading people say even the ones that use stock hats make some noise.

Anyone used these?

Post your last alignment.

I would try other solutions before using these. Most likely there is something worn out or damaged in the suspension system that needs to be replaced.

I’d have to look for it. It was a year ago.

I was at 60% drop when I had it last aligned. No one could get it aligned and both shops said nothing appeared worn. BMW dealership tried it twice for free. After that I brought it to a local shop in town. They both said everything look good. I also agree. I see no cracks or signs of wear.

I just wanted to dial some camber back in so it doesn’t ride the inside of the tires as much. Controls arms and tie rods look mint. Handles well, corners like a boss, no clunks, no complaints.

Sway bar end links could probably be replaced, with adjustables of course.

Should I just overhaul everything? Excuse to upgrade?

kmac camber bushings

I've used them along with camber plates...they work surprisingly well. If you decide to go this route, these bushings push the bottom of the wheel out and will put some pressure on the front axle if pushed out to the maximum. I would be moderate with this application.

Pretty sure it’s still on the front page of this forum, since I last posted in it. Something about awd camber solution.

Also, what do you mean “can’t be aligned” what exactly is the problem?

Lowering adds negative camber, so you want to remove camber? How much?

Since camber isn’t adjustable from the factory, of course they can’t do anything and bringing it back to the shop wont do any good.

These particular parts are kind of finicky, and have some fitment issues. I wouldn’t recommend them unless your prepared and able to deal with that.

There is a set of poly bushing from powerflex that can adjust +\- 0.5 degree which may be better. Or you could get an adjustable lower control arm. Just realize most people are looking to add camber, not remove it.

There are also camber corrections wheel hubs from BMW which with statically add or remove 0.5 degrees.
