Koni Yellow / Eibach Pro Kit / Millway Street camber plates
Going over checking everything needed to install and I've come across needing the thrust bearing off of the bottom of the OEM front strut mount. Is this something that's not able to be purchased separately (cant find it on real OEM or FCP Euro)?
I was hoping to assemble a completed strut before hand and then just swap out the whole assembly when the time comes. My wrench on your own car situation isn't great right now so was hoping to eliminate as many steps as possible and not have to disassemble the OEM strut assembly to cannibalize parts off of during the install.

Edit: Damn, they only have 1 in stock and honestly just about the same price as a whole new mount. Bummer

I used the Borg and Beck part number BSM5530 when fitting my Millway plates to AC Schnitzer springs.
Some other comparables here from searching: BORG & BECK BSM5530 FAI AutoParts ss8242 FIRST LINE FSM5530 You'll also need to use an OEM dustboot as it's got the built in spring locator at the top. Ask me how I know! |
