N55 Need help with Valvetronic
I have decided to replace my valvetronic motor because of 133B04 and 133E10 codes and also have heard the motor clicking a couple times when starting the car. The teeth on the old motor were worn and the eccentric shaft teeth also had some wear marks. the new motor turned freely and after putting everything back in I can hear the new motor binding and i get 134F04 code, does this mean i need to replace the eccentric shaft? Also when i rev the engine i cannot rev past 1.5k rpm and sometimes it lets me rev past this and at around 4-5k rpm the same happens.

I would offer reviewing the FCP Euro write up on what causes the gears on the eccentric to go bad and what is involved in the replacement of the shaft. Short version: yes you will need to replace it and it requires a special spring tool.
