N55 Missing Vacuum Lines?
Dumb question but I’m changing my valve cover and every video and tutorial I’ve seen has vacuum lines going into the side of the cover. Mine has no vacuum lines that I can find. Is that intentional? Can someone educate me on what they even do?

If your car is pwg, this hole would have a connected line to it. Then if you look into the exhaust valley right above the turbo heat shied, right in the middle of the valvecover region (side wall), you'll find 2 or 3 small little nipple connectors (integrated in the valvecover). Those connectors are what pwg's source their vacuum from to work the actuator for the wastegate. On ewg cars, all that is eliminated, and due to such, the ewg N55's has the same vacuum pump but the casing would have that vacuum source completely plugged during cast. For ewg cars, whish is what I primarily deal with these days, I typically look into that hole to check for oil. If oil is present, it usually precludes me to investigate a leak within the pcv system of the valvecover.
