Help with some ECU codes...
Just wondering if anyone has had the same codes I’m experiencing and got to the bottom of them.
I basically get the following codes... Active 101F01 Intake pipe absolute pressure, plausibility: Pressure too high 102002 Air mass, plausibility: Air mass too low. Shadow 104B01 Absolute pressure sensor, intake pipe, multiple fault: electrical and plausibility. 101F01 and 104B01 appear when turning the ignition on, 102002 after driving... Starting the car with the 2 codes, it’s fine, but once 102002 is also present, there is a slight hunt at idle, but the car seems to drive ok, sometimes they bring the EML on, but not always. I have a metal CP, changed the TMAP and MAP sensors, reseated the throttle valve connector, MAP and TMAP, MAF, and connector blocks to the ECU on the inlet, but still get the codes. Any ideas appreciated |

Did the codes appear right after the CP install?
Are you tuned? Have to pressure/boost leak tested? Any datalogs? |

Thanks for the reply!
The CP has been on for about 2 years, these codes have only started recently. Tuned, yes, FBO, PS2 and XDI. Mapped using MHD, still perfecting the map, but reloaded an earlier map, pre codes, and they are still present, so it’s not tuning related. I was thinking potential boost leak, but it’s good to have confirmation that is where I should potentially be looking 👍 I have MHD logs, I think they are normal, my tuner is looking at those to see if he can see any issues. |

101F01 code could be triggered by several conditions:
- Bad wiring harness between DME and intake vacuum sensor - Bad wiring harness between DME and electromotive throttle controller - Failing intake piper vacuum sensor This code requires more investment int time to properly diagnose. |

Update.....
Ive cleaned the MAF and removed / refitted all intake pipes, and the turbo > intercooler pipe, and intercooler > thottle body. Unfortunately its made no difference. The car idles ok for about 5 secs, then the revs drop too 4-500 then pick up to 1000 before settling at ~600 for 5 secs again. I have some carb cleaner, so next step is going to be to hunt for a Vac leak, also to check the PCV. I can also use MHD to monitor what is going on at idle, and see if the car runs lean to suggest a vac leak, before it compensates. |

For anyone searching, issue resolved.
Turns out the original TMAP failed, but the replacement was also faulty, not what you’d expect! On checking live pressure readings VDO TMAP (Described as genuine) was out of calibration, Genuine TMAP fitted and issue has now gone. |

Already cleaned the MAF. Found a wire going to the MAF that has rubing agaisnt the motor but the conductor of the wire didnt looked damage (can you weld a MAF wire Or it will modify the reading? ) so I just put some electric tape to see if it was causing a short or something but the code was still there after that. I wanted to verify the MAF reading but couldn't find info on ISTA on how much it should read at, let say 1000 RPM or 2000 RPM. Anyone know where I can find the info ? I have an aftermarket CP installed last summer and then it was leak free (tested at 15 psi). Anyway if someone have an idea what could be my problem.
