NBT & indicator stalk stolen wiring help

Hi,

I have a 4 series convertible 2017 and someone has cut some of the nbt wires and the indicator stalk wires. If someone can help to guide me in the right direction would be really helpful as I am trying to find wires on eBay

I’d start with this as the wire colors should be the same:

Other than that, I would probably order a complete new harness. You certainly are not the only one this has happened to. I’m not sure how a Dealer would handle this but clearly there must be a harness or procedure.

Aliexpress will be good for some like the two usb and idrive to screen cable. The delivery times are far better than advertised.

Type BMW USB cable in to the search and you’ll see the various options come up as well as idrive to screen cable. That will sort three of them. The connectors are farka so use that in your search..

On the thicker wires what I’d do would be to splice in crimp cable joiners and the use BMW pins on the other end. Use heat shrink over the cable joiners.

The majority of bmw connectors can have pins removed and added.

Would suggest getting yourself a crimp pin tool and a pin extractor set. I brought the following set where I did a car stereo project but used BMW connectors in my wiring looms.

These pin tools work on the majority of BMW amp / te connectors

Your advice sucks

You cannot splice a coax carrying RF Signals

Even the best splitter would lose 50% of the signal. A splice even worse.

Cheers Mate !

Spicing deals to the majority of the connections, indicator stalk , quadlock connector. It wasn’t for every connector !

How about you pass on part numbers , connectors for the farka connections , PIN numbers and stuiable 50 ohm coax so OP can make these up to keep the post constructive.

Here’s some of the farka style coax cable connectors.
I’d undo the tesa tape and see if you can get enough length to re-terminate with new connectors
