Do you mean tap off the same line? From memory, BMWs don't like that? Not 100% sure, but i do recall reading it. That being said, running to fuse box is essentially the same I guess?
Perhaps ask in the modifications forum section? |

Excellent write up and troubleshooting.
I`m going to fit my Blackvue tomorrow.Had it a year and its sat in the box unused !! Fingers crossed its still works !!

Many thanks, I used the same point that is a bolt facing upward , I added a 5mm nut to fix the grounding cable.

I've just found this post because I was looking for BAT fuse (old dash cam has battery, new one need constant power in order to keep settings and to save last file). Anyway, mi comment is about homelink fuse (if I remember this is 146). Consider using it instead of 143, this power very similar and works just as I like it, power on when you power engine and power off with small delay.
