Door Lock Actuators on LCI cars
So i think i just had my first sign of a going door lock actuator. went to close the door and it didn’t close due to latch being in closed position. restarting the car fixed it, but from what I know its a sign of a failing door lock actuator.
My question is, from what I heard the door lock actuators is a pre-LCI issue mainly. Anyone with an LCI 340i had their door lock actuators fail?

I am just going to assume that just cause it is an LCI that it has the same parts mostly as a Pre-Lci.
LCI is usually just cosmetic changes and maybe a Few Modules updated. So yeah, if you think it is the actuator, then wait for another instance. |

thanks yeah that's a good point, i saw there were a few superseded part numbers but the latest one is used for both pre-LCI and LCI models. haven't had any issues since that one time so yeah decided its best to just wait for it to happen again.
