Cts intake in rain

Hey all I recently put a cts turbo intake on my f30 and its starting to rain more often where I live and was worried it migh suck up water easier than the stock box. Would a k and n drycharger filter just off amazon fit and be okay or should i just switch back to stock intake until the season is over?

It's 100% fine unless you drive into a lake or the ocean. You don't need anything special to protect from water. You don't need to swap intakes or change filters. It'll literally never be a problem.

Never had an issue, and I had a CF Evolve scoop that directed air right to the filer. So much so it was actually discolored in that area.

Hundreds of CTS intakes have been on the market for several years, I don't recall a single issue reported regarding the rain.

As n55david said, no need to worry about it unless you drive into a lake or the ocean
