N57 335d, error 287500 help pls

So car felt a little judder only twice so far, when going around 30mph, just around 1000rpm,
I read error codes and found this -

287500 bmw lambda probe oxygen concentration implausibley low in overrun mode

I've spoke to my local garage that does all my work and advised nothing to worry about maybe it just needs to do a regen? They said?
Whats your guys opinions?
Anyone had any experience with this one?

Hi there
Ha…..I've had the exact same experience in my 435d in the last couple of days.
I read the error codes and got the same code as you.
I deleted the error and it came back with the light studder at low rpm's.
At first I thought it was transmission related but ran xDelete and I still have the light studder.
Mostly when cold within the first 10km or so.
I'm going to get the lambda sensor changed when the shop has time. Then we'll see if it's fixed.

Thanks for reply,
We had a good look around the only think we found suspect was what looks an oil weep on the intercooler boost pipe, so I'm thinking I'm going to get this changed too, I was looking for a uprated version but haven't seen one....
Keep us updated how you get on mate.

Hi guys I've had this problem and code, the car would shudder terrible when the engine was cold and and it felt like the gear changes were very sloppy whilst the engine warmed up,once up to running temp the car would only occasionally misfire,my fault codes pointed to my pre cat o2 sensor so I changed my o2 sensor Bank 1 pre cat and reset the codes and my car now runs fine with no issues
My car is a 330d 👍🏼

Exactly the same thing happens to me, with the engine cold at low rpm it gives me some jerk and in the ista-d I get error 287500 lambda probe, if I replace the part will the problems go away?

My car is too 330d f31

Hi there
Yep no problem after the new Lambda probe was installed. And in general much more smooth power delivery as a bonus

Hi all, hope someone is still around

I am having the identical issue as above, car stumbles at cold idle. Cleared the code multiple time but comes back when cleared.
Once warm it’s absolutely fine

Does the oxygen sensor regulate the air fuel ratio.

Would you advise me to replace the sensor?

Hi there.
Yes, if you see the same code again after deleting it, I would get the lambda probe changed.

Hi there
The shop used OEM.
It was an authorized BMW service shop.

Evening Fellas, I’ve got an F30 335D 2014. I’ve noticed tiny little judders when driving but it’s only happened a couple of times. These are the codes that have come up on my car but I’m presuming it’s the O2 sensor, just need to figure out if it’s pre cat or post cat. I’ve not had any issues such as misfires or limp mode, just an increase in fuel consumption and the annoying engine management light come up. Dealers are asking £288 a pop for one of these sensors and it’s non refundable. Does anyone know where I can get one at a better price or should I just go with a Bosch one for the time being?

It's the precat one.

Bosch 0281004028. About £100.
