Datalog from BM3 Stage 0+ N55 Knock Detected

Hey everyone, new to tuning, used the M2 tune and trying to learn how to read datalogs. Did a pull from 3.5k rpm and detected two knocks early on. Does anything seem to be off about this log? Car is fully stock, has 123000km on it and spark plugs were serviced at 92000km. Ambient temp was around -6.5C, used 91 oct fuel from Shell.

Given the mileage, may not be the worst time to schedule a walnut blasting for the valves to clean crap off of them.

Canada has pretty bad fuel quality right? Can you get 93? It does look like a fuel quality issue; timing is pretty bad on the M2 tune even when its not pulling due to a knock. Fuel trims are also relatively high, pulling ~10% fuel or more in a lot of places. Are coils original?

Should not be needed at his mileage (KM) unless he has an underlying issue.

Likely a waste of time and money unless there is a secondary problem that's causing buildup.

Coils are original, only have access to 91 here and no E85

Tried using ACN 91 Stage 1 tune, I think the timing still looked pretty bad, going to try a different gas station next time.

Does anyone know if its better to use ethanol free 91 oct or 91 oct that has up to 10% ethanol? Currently using Shell 91 which has no ethanol.

Yes, timing looks bad. 91 should be 91 but personally would run the ethanol as alc might give it some more knock resistance. i wouldnt be too optimistic about coils but at your mileage you could try them if different fuel doesnt work

Here's a log on Co-op 91, I believe it has up to 10% ethanol in it.

This is on ACN tune? There's still a lot of timing corrections... but at least not going negative there

Yeah your fuel is terrible there unfortunately.. stock ic is barely fine for the stock tune.. it shows dramatically in the logs lol.

Hey Sunoco does sell e85r to purchase. Maybe adding some of that with your 91 could balance it out.
