AA catted downpipe, wrap?

Hey everyone, got an AA catted downpipe coming, is there any benefit to wrapping it? Any downside? I see people do it for catless for heat management and some theories sort of related to the same idea as turbo blankets. Thanks

There is no downside, but unless you track your car regularly and push it to its limit, there is not noticeable upside either.

For sure, I only the drive car on weekends for fun and drive it pretty hard. I was hoping to keep heat out of the engine bay, also plan to shield the turbo off, also thought it would make the cat that more efficient. If there’s no downsides I’ll do it for good measure.

I don’t live where it snows, or any high moisture so corrosion shouldn’t be a concern either.
