Flashed back to stock and re-locked the DME today.

I have an F3x licence that I purchased directly from BM3.

It was on my F31 320i, but I believe it's compatible with other F3x. I've messaged Protuning freaks on email to confirm models my licence will work with.

Transfer looks simple enough, linked to VIN and Email.

looking for £175 for transfer. Payment by paypal.

I think it’ll only be of use for people with the same engine.

That was sort of my understanding, but I've read stuff that is kinda wooly and suggests that the licence could be transferred to another vehicle as long as it has compatible SW. I don't know if that means specifically the same model or if it's reference to the DME being able to accept the BM3 flash, so unlocked.
I've msg'd Protuning Freaks again to ask the question.
